Thanks to an innovative business model and a proprietary sourcing platform which guarantees a unique competitive advantage the company has registered an incredible grow (100% YOY since his set-up in 2020) and achieved a leading position in the market. In the first semester of 2022 Functional registered sales for more than 2M.€ and concluded a seed funding round (>1M.€) which guaranteed a further boost and new resources to scale up his business.
Identify new business opportunities and related product/market trends and, in line with the established plans, implement the launch of new products and technologies. By constantly interfacing with the Sales & Service Direction, will ensure the implementation of projects and business development actions, both in Italy and abroad, through a correct analysis of markets and competitors, the choice of the new product portfolio to be developed, the correct positioning of the products themselves, in compliance with Brand specifications and country specificities. In co-ordination with the Engineering Direction, he/she will be responsible for the launch of new products, the correct implementation of new market requirements, the related profitability, and the entire life cycle of the product lines.
Responsible for formulating appropriate pricing policies accordingly to the product range and to ensure the established profitability targets. Ensure the correct implementation of all communication activities to the markets, including the growing increase of digital solutions and tools to support the business.
Guarantee and develop constant monitoring and guidance of the sector/product at a global level, taking care of the network and the system of relations with industrial partners and research center to promote and support the process of technological innovation.
Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership:
To lead market awareness and analysis, product ideas and innovation
To establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts
To oversee current offerings and to come up with projects/initiatives for new products and/or services, according to the customer needs
To research and analyze market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products and other relevant information to develop marketing strategies
To approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
To set up product profiles, product specification and related compliance
To investigate the market in terms of development business opportunity
To implement and deliver strategic plans, initiatives and projects, to monitor expected results and variances in order to achieve the strategic goals
To track all marketing and sales data and to create detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to the Leadership Team
To oversee marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback
Core Competencies, Knowledge And Experience:
Proven marketing experience in B2B segment with extensive knowledge of leading marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Experience in product marketing, business development or application engineering related tasks with a strong emphasis on roadmap execution, winning projects and driving revenue
Ability to develop effective working relationships with all company levels and to work closely with commercial departments such as sales, operations and product development
Organized and analytical, able to work under pressure and to make the right priorities
Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication skills and public speaking complete the profile
Fluent German speaking
Professional Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of experience gained in similar position within big multinational industrial companies
University Master Degree Economics, Marketing, Business or Related Fields
Earlier project management experience is considered a distinct advantage
